Closing Conference of our project

The Life Under Griffon Wings project for the conservation of the Griffon Vulture in Sardinia is concluded. On Friday 10 July from 10 am to 11.30 am, the results achieved in the five years of the project will be presented during a closing conference that will be streamed live on Digital terrestrial channel 607 and on the Facebook page "Life Under Griffon Wings". During the works, the state of conservation of the Griffon Vultures in Sardinia will be illustrated and the main actions that have contributed to its preservation will be described: the farm feeding stations activated for the first time in Italy, the repopulation action, the operations of the first Anti-Poison Dog Unit set up on the island, and the communication and awareness campaigns. The Life Under Griffon Wings project is financed by the Life Programme of the European Union and conducted by the University of Sassari together with Forestas Agency, the Forestry and Environmental Surveillance Corps and the Municipality of Bosa.
